Education and occupational training

Tomasz Perek is a graduate of the Faculty of Law and Administration at the Jagiellonian University in Krakow, and School of American Law organized by The Catholic University of America, Columbus School of Law in cooperation with the Faculty of Law and Administration at the Jagiellonian University.

He has been an advocate's trainee between 2007 and 2011. During these years he has widened his professional experience by cooperating with law, legal advisor, and notary offices in Krakow, and by providing ongoing service to companies in Krakow.

In 2011 he passed the bar entry exam and was admitted to the bar in the District Council of Advocates in Krakow. In that same year, he has established his own law firm.

Experience

• commercial law (within the scope of corporate law, contract law, mergers and acquisition law, the market of real estate properties),
• civil law (within the scope of conducting litigation between companies or private individuals),
• criminal law (within the scope of offences against business transactions, offences against property, and offences against the circulation of money and securities),

The main fields of professional activities of advocate Tomasz Perek are for now: providing versatile legal services for business entities, and handling legal aspects of investment processes, with a special consideration to all kinds of restructuring measures, including mergers and acquisition.

The advocate speaks English fluently, including specialist legal terminology. He provides full legal service in both English and Polish.
